A Field Guide to Keira Knightley

Reigning queen of the period piece Keira Knightley returns to theaters this weekend in the romantic post WWII drama The Aftermath, and though there are reports of her using a body double, we thought it would be fun to look back on all the times she didn't use one! Keira's been getting nude on film since she was 15 years old, but we're just gonna focus on the stuff she did after she was legal.

In 2005, at the age of twenty, Keira went nude twice on film in rapid succession. Two films released in September 2005 feature the slim brunette doffing her duds. First, she played famed assassin Domino Harvey in Tony Scott's Domino, going topless for a love scene with co-star Edgar Ramirez in the desert, edited like it's a music video...

Later that same month, Keira co-starred with Adrien Brody in the time travel sci-fi drama The Jacket. You can take off your pants and jacket to Keira smoking in the tub 27 minutes in!

2007's Atonement scored Oscar nominations galore, though sadly not one for Keira—who earned noms for Pride & Prejudice and The Imitation Game. She did get soaking wet, sporting a pert pair of pokies when she pops up out of a fountain in front of James McAvoy...

The following year, Keira pulled double nudity duty once again. First up, she stripped bare for on-screen hubby Ralph Fiennes, briefly baring her left breast as she attempts to be modest in the period piece The Duchess...

Later that same year, Keira starred in the Dylan Thomas biopic The Edge of Love, opposite another sexpot, Sienna Miller. Keira's the one going nude, though, as she beds the famous Welsh poet 36 minutes in to this period piece...

Keira kept her clothes on in 2010, starring in such films as Never Let Me Go and Last Night, but she came roaring back to the world of nudity the following year with her scandalous role in David Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method. 33 minutes later, Keira appears in a stage play where her character in the play is revealed to be a woman in disguise, her left breast uncovered on stage...

It truly would be sad if Keira never went nude again on film, but the amazing nude scenes she has already done throughout her career will be more than enough to tide us over should she decide to keep it hung up. There's no denying that we never tire of checking out a nude Keira, Knightley and daily!
