Violet Rain Is Unresponsive

On Friday, AVN ran a story about porn starlet Violet Rain. The report quotes her agent Dave Rock as saying that Rain was in critical condition and on life support following an apparent drug overdose. Rock told AVN:

“It was communicated to us by a friend of Violet Rain’s that she was admitted to the hospital Monday morning in critical condition. The alleged reason for the admittance was due to a drug overdose. The friend continued to report to us as she remained in ICU until Wednesday when her family had flown in from Arizona to be by her side, as she still had not regained consciousness.

“Our source was at the hospital as of late Thursday night and Violet remained on life support. According to our source, she remains in critical condition as her family surrounds her. It’s our belief that reports that she has passed are premature and inaccurate.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Violet and her family as we remain hopeful that she will pull through.”

An unnamed source of AVN's refutes the drug overdose claim to AVN but says that she was brought to the hospital with her body and brain seizing at the same time. The same unnamed source also says that Rain is breathing unassisted at present but that she is still unresponsive with only partial brain activity.
