Oscar winning beauty Jennifer Connelly is back in theaters this weekend in the sci-fi romp Alita: Battle Angel, so what better time to explore her many nude roles in our latest Field Guide! Jennifer's been my personal valentine since I first saw her in Labyrinth, a dream girl for many young men coming of age in the 80s, she's never lost an ounce of her sex appeal in the last thirty-plus years.

Born on the mean streets of Cairo, New York—a little over an hour north of New York City—in 1970, Jennifer began her career young, landing the lead role in Dario Argento's Phenomena in only her fourth credited role at the age of 15. The year before, however, she got her big screen break in Sergio Leone's epic, Once Upon a Time in America. With Jennifer being only 14 at the time, Leone used a body double for the scene, but the sexualization of Ms. Connelly had begun for many men—and women too, I imagine.

Jennifer bounced around in knockoff John Hughes flicks like 1985's Seven Minutes in Heaven and 1988's Some Girls, which continued the trend of exploiting Jennifer's burgeoning sexuality, getting the 18 year old into a cleavage baring bra just a year after her family friendly turn in Labyrinth...

It was 1990's The Hot Spot, directed by Dennis Hopper, that found the 20 year old brunette stunner showing off every square inch of her body in a nude debut for the ages! An hour and twenty six minutes into this steamy thriller, Jennifer and Debra Cole emerge nude from a lake and Jen shows off her buns and some backburger while getting ready to work on her base coat...

Not long after, she turns around, giving the world their first look at her absolutely perfect pair of breasts. Jennifer Connelly was perfection personified, no doubt...

1994's Of Love and Shadows is an intense examination of fascism under Pinochet in Chile, but the film does have her sexiest non-nude scene, showing off plenty of her breasts while wearing nothing but lover Antonio Banderas' military jacket. Banderas later puts the pipe in her as well, with Jen's right breast slipping out of her loose fitting top!

In 1996's Mulholland Falls, Jennifer is the femme fatale to grizzled veteran Nick Nolte in this neo-noir. Some grainy footage of one of their flings ends up in the film, giving us yet another gander at Jennifer's amazing breasts!

1997's Inventing the Abbots may not be her best nude scene, but it's my personal favorite. This scene is hotter than hell as she rides Billy Crudup in a shed while Joaquin Phoenix catches her eye! It's an absolutely devastating look she gives him and one that's guaranteed to get you where you need to be, if you catch my drift...

2000 gave us a double dose of Jen nude, first when she hooked up again with Billy Crudup in Waking the Dead, though her actual nudity was mostly in the deleted scenes found on the DVD...

Then came Darren Aronofsky's harrowing drama Requiem for a Dream. As a young heroin addict, Jen does a bush only nude scene right after pushing off just shy of the twenty minute mark...

And anyone that had their doubts, we can safely say that she left the film's infamous "Ass to Ass" scene to a body double...

After winning an Oscar for her performance in Best Picture winner A Beautiful Mind, Jennifer earned another Oscar nomination for her role in 2003's House of Sand and Fog, showing off her beautiful buns in bed with Ron Eldard...

It was a long, decade-plus wait for Jennifer's next nude scene, which came in 2015's Shelter, directed by her real life husband Paul Bettany. This flick finds Jennifer in another harrowing drug drama, playing a heroin addict, and doing another bush only nude scene...

2016's American Pastoral, based on the Philip Roth novel, came and went without much fanfare, which is a shame because the flick finds Jennifer bottomless again. Sadly we discovered later than she was wearing a merkin, but her ass is visible in the first part of the GIF below...
