Gwyneth Paltrow Can’t Use Fake Science To Sell Her Sex Toys

CELEBRITY

Gwyneth Is Hot But Yeah, Science Is A Thing.

Actress/self-styled Goop lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow had to pay a $145,000 recently in a California court based on false scientific claims that the website made over Kegel eggs made of stone and an "Inner Judge Flower Essence Blend" herbal tincture sold on her website.

Investigations by the California Food, Drug, and Medical Device Task Force on those three products were found to be making unscientific claims about the products' abilities. A $66 jade egg and a $55 rose quartz egg were sold on the site claiming that the rocks could increase bladder control, regulate menstrual cycles, balance hormones, and prevent uterine collapse. The tincture was sold as a possible cure for depression. Goop is still selling the rock eggs but has wisely scaled back on the claims that they make for the eggs.

The Santa Clara district attorney, Jeff Rosen, was quoted as saying, “The health and money of Santa Clara County residents should never be put at risk by misleading advertising. We will vigilantly protect consumers against companies that promise health benefits without the support of good science … or any science.”

Kegel eggs are a real thing, ladies and you can use them with lube to exercise your pussy. There really is just so much that the things can really do, though....
