Top porn starlet Whitney Wright wrote and starred in one of Pure Taboo's recent episodes. The piece is called "The Gold Star" directed by Bree Mills. In it, Wright plays a lesbian in love with her married girlfriend Ivy Wolfe. Wolfe is married to controlling politician Isiah Maxwell and Wright helps Wolfe leave Maxwell by distracting him with losing her virginity to him. This loss of a virginity is a bigger deal than usual because Wright is a "gold star lesbian", a woman who has never had sex with a man but Wright will do whatever it takes to protect Wolfe. So how are you, Whitney? How are things?

"I’m great! I’m working, going to school, preparing for an upcoming vacation, and living my best life!"

Your new Pure Taboo scene is super hot and very compelling. What did you enjoy most about performing the scene?

"I loved that I got to write it and choose who I wanted to cast in it. As always, I love shooting for Pure Taboo and for Bree Mills. Half of the fun is being on one of her sets."

Is the hardcore sex you have in this something that you enjoy a lot of in your personal life or is it something that you save more for your performing life?

"Really it depends on my mood. I think I have a little bit of both in my personal life. I love personal, intimate sex, and I also love hard, passionate sex."

What did you find most challenging about writing this scene?

"I’m a perfectionist and a bit of a critic when it comes to my own work, so I wanted to make sure it came out exactly how I wanted it, and it came out even better than I had imagined it."

What do you enjoy most about working for Pure Taboo? How was working like this with Bree Mills?

"I love the artistic freedom that we get to have when diving into the scripts. I’ll get my script in my call sheet, and then I’ll start working on my character breakdown. I get a feel for my character’s background— sexual, family, socioeconomic, financial, educational, etc.— and I incorporate that into the way my character thinks and reacts with other characters. We don’t follow scripts word for word, and the final product is amazing. Bree gives everyone who works for her a chance to do that, and the expressive freedom that we get translates into the scenes. I love all of my work for Pure Taboo, I’m so proud of all of it."

Your scenes are consistently super. What do you think is the most important factor in making a great porn scene?

"Every scene I do, no matter what kind of day I’m having or what type of scene it is, I always try to do my best and make sure it looks good and will make the fans happy. In my girl/girl scenes, I’m constantly trying to hit off checkpoints of what I know will look hot when people watch it."

What are you proudest of about how this came out?

"The general suspense that you feel when watching me go look for Gia at her house is probably the proudest I was of this. The editors did so great, and I’m so proud of Isiah's and Ivy’s performances."

So what else is coming up for you?

"I star in Pure Taboo’s upcoming feature 'Anne' for the Pure Taboo fans. Myself, Ashley Adams, and Tommy Pistol have a pretty outrageous intense scene in that movie. I also am in several more features with different companies that will be surfacing soon."

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans here at Fleshbot?
