God knows why we find this so hot, but on his incredibly detailed website, Len Gifford, a sculptor who builds mannequins for a living, explains how he took a fashion model and turned her into the kind of display you'd see in a store window. (Yea, he's kinda like Andrew McCarthy in "Mannequin" - but it plays out in reverse.) It took Gifford more than a month to turn Lauren into an inanimate object, which means it's probably not worth asking him if he takes on custom projects. We'd never be able to afford it. (R.S.)
