You Don't Have To Love Bush To Love Merkins

The Merkin. Some find them funny. Some find them cool. All of us have found one merkin or another pretty damn sexy. Whether you're a fan of the bush or not, there is no doubt that at some point one of your favorite celebs has worn a merkin and you loved it. Merkins are pretty damn great.

Whether played for comedy or helping to set the time period the merkin are quite a useful tool in film and television. Odds are you probably didn't even know a celebrity was wearing a merkin. I don't know if that has anything to do with merkin technology or it was just we were too busy staring at a completely nude celebrity to notice. And that's the best part of merkins, they tend to come with a beautiful celebrity being completely nude, giving us a full frontal. You know, this makes me wish for some kind of merkin museum. A place we could all go and see these fantastic pubic wigs along with still images and clips of the celebrities wearing them in whatever. If some city or town is looking for a way to boost tourism they may want to jump on the Merkin Museum idea.

So the next time you raise a glass or celebrate in whatever way you like to do, take time to give merkins the honor they truly deserve. We salute you, merkins!
