Mary Carey: “Bullets Not Boobs!”

God bless Mary Carey: if she didn't exist, we'd have to take some cheeseburgers and a stack of string bikinis and try to invent her. The former California gubernatorial candidate literally stopped traffic in a strip mall on Sunset and La Brea in Los Angeles yesterday with a demonstration/promo stunt organized by Kick Ass Pictures protesting the US Army's offer of plastic surgery (including breast enhancement) to new recruits: "Our military is setting a bad example for young women ... I understand that the armed services are desperate for new recruits given the current situation in Iraq. But as a taxpayer and a woman, I refuse to sit back and allow my money to be spent on disfiguring American women." Easy for her to say - if all women were as naturally well endowed as Mary, there'd be no need for boob jobs. But we appreciate the sentiment.

Update Is there something about Mary at odds with her protesting the Army's boob job policy? A reader points us to this interview at AVN Insider where she answers "Do I have to answer honestly? Yes." to the "Boob Job?" question. (But at least she paid for it herself.)
