Rolling Stone has an article by Lynsey G. about how the marijuana and adult industries have intersected and how they mix and do not mix.

The production company Emerald Triangle Girls with their pot-friendly lesbian action get discussed with director Fivestar talking about how much she enjoys shooting the pot smoking along with the sex.

Performers Richelle Ryan, Vicki Chase, Mia L,  and Ela Darling along with retired performer Kendra Sunderland are all quoted in this talking about their consumption of weed in relation to their job as porn stars.

Consent is a big issue on porn sets and I can tell you with authority that a completely impaired performer is never welcome on any porn set in front of a camera ever because of liability issues. Edibles and whatever happens off set, though, are things that a production company cannot easily control. Plus, Chase makes a great point about sobriety being pretty necessary to perform a great scene. Going to work high as a kite isn't good at any job.
