Rolling Stone recently did an excellent story about the life and times of AVN Director of the Year Greg Lansky. Lansky founded the super successful sites Blacked, Blacked Raw, Tushy and Vixen and has experienced mountains of success and the appreciation of porno fans ever since 2014 when Blacked first hit the Internet.

There are a lot of interesting things in here. Lansky is working with Evil Angel director/porn star August Ames' widower Kevin Moore on a suicide prevention project and is quite understandably "haunted" by Ames' death. I was not aware of Lansky's long friendship with Evil Angel director Mike Adriano and AVN Hall of Famer Steve Holmes but neither one of those friendships surprises me all that much.

I loved reading about Lansky's time directing for New Sensations and Reality Kings and I can tell you that I knew many a guy who were positively addicted to Lansky's work for New Sensations back when he was there.  The saddest bit here other than thinking about Ames is how Lansky talks about regularly receiving death threats for making interracial porn on Blacked and Blacked Raw. The world should really be over all that racism by now. Just fucking sad.
