Who Made These Magical Creations?

Daisy dukes, jorts, cheek-a-boos, poom pooms, spankies, cut-offs, coochie cutters, chuck norris action shorts; no matter what you call them they all mean the same thing: short shorts. Whether they show off a lot of leg or a little bit of cheek one thing that is for sure is we truly do love short shorts.

Of course these days designers make short shorts on purpose because it's a trend, but it makes you wonder how did someone decide to cut off the legs on some pants and forever change the world. I don't know who invented them, I don't know if theirs was Daisy Duke or some variation, but they really do deserve some kind of honor. Maybe we can do some research into who created the first pair of short shorts and then have a national holiday on the day of their birth. Just image the parades in their honor... All those short shorts walking down the street, people cheering, the floats honoring this fantastic creation. Yes, the short shorts are part of society now and it's a trend that will never, ever go away. We are incredibly grateful for that.
