Although Lars Von Trier and his Zentropa production company are all over the credits and promo material for director Knud Vesterskov's "sweaty, deep, raw and heartfelt" gay porn opus, its sensibility looks closer to lying somewhere between "Pink Narcissus" and Bruce La Bruce than "Dancer in the Dark" and "Dogville": no beleagured female leads to distract from the hot man-on-boy (er, boi) hardcore action starring Ron Athey and former Colt hunk Billy Herrington! Filmed in 2000, "HotMen CoolBoyz" is released worldwide on DVD this week.
