Rene Bond

Nearly forgotten today, Rene Bond was everywhere in the fledgling adult industry in the early 1970s: her complete resumé lists over 300 films, including such forgotten gems as "Adultery for Fun and Profit", "Beach Blanket Bango" ... and Ed Wood's "Necromania", in which she plays the sexually frustrated Shirley (opposite husband, frequent co-star, and favorite scene partner Rick Lutze—one assumes their real-life relations were more satisfying than the one depicted in the movie.) Unfortunately, online galleries featuring the actress variously referred to as "porn's answer to Annette Funicello" and "a cute animated chipmunk" are hard to come by unless you subscribe to a vintage porn site like (the very excellent) Mr. Skin—and of course, you can see her at her hardcore best in "Necromania".
