"South Africa", "modern design", and "hot naked models" aren't concepts we usually expect to see in the same place, but The Modernist broadens our cultural horizons today with the latest installment of its "Furniture and Naked People" series, shot by South African photographer and filmmaker Henrik Purienne and featuring a lovely model getting acquainted with her Arne Jacobsen pieces. It makes all that hard-edged International Style stuff look like something we actually wouldn't mind living with.
