Breast Implant Suicide Risk?

It's no secret that we're not huge fans of fake boobs here at Fleshbot, but our objections have always been more a matter of aesthetics than anything else. A report released this week, however, made us think the matter may be more serious than we realized: according to a study by scientists affiliated with the National Cancer Institute, there is "evidence that women with cosmetic breast implants have a higher rate of suicide than other women and shows, for the first time, that they may be more likely to have a history of psychiatric illness as well." We certainly hope we didn't add to the problem by our occasional jibes—after all, we were only kidding!
