DVD: “Adventure Sex”

2004 saw a glut of reality porn in the adult market, but there's a reason why director Dave Road's "Adventure Sex" walked away with the Best Amateur Release nod at this year's AVN Awards: no less an august film authority than the Chicago Sun-Times called it a combination of "'Easy Rider' meets 'Girls Gone Wild' meets 'Blind Date' ... a landmark of cinema." Given its freewheeling yet intimate style, attractive twenty-something cast, and incredible amount of very hot (and very real) sex in such landmark settings as the Golden Gate Bridge, the Grand Canyon, and Niagra Falls, maybe "Jack & Katrena's Excellent Adventure" might be a good way of describing it as well.
