Bel Ami’s “Enchanted Forest”

As soon as we start watching a Bel Ami DVD and see two guys in baggy shorts and trail hats winding their way through the woods while that trademark Czech New Age Lite music plays in the background, we pretty much know what to expect: ninety minutes or so of perfectly toned, impossibly gorgeous men having beautifully photographed sex that, while pleasant enough, always remains firmly on this side of vanilla. Whether or not you think that consistency is an asset or a liability will determine whether or not you'll like the new "Enchanted Forest", so maybe telling you that it's Bel Ami at its best isn't saying much: either way, though, you still have to admit that George Duroy is very, very good at what he does.
