Vanity Fair Goes Maxim

As our salacious siblings at Gawker point out today, the cover story of the new issue of Vanity Fair is a little misleading: after all, the concept of half naked Eastern European supermodels in bikinis is timeless, not just a passing trend. But we suppose VF editor Graydon Carter had to do something to keep up with Sports Illustrated sooner or later—and besides, who really cares if Natalia Vodianova, Carmen Kass, and Karolina Kurkova have already been around the block/down the runway a few times? We just read the article for the pictures anyway.
