Sexy Miners

We're as perplexed as everyone else seems to be over just what GE is trying to convey in its new television campaign, which features a dozen or so sweaty, buff models of both sexes strutting suggestively in miner's hats and excavation gear: either someone in their ad department has been watching that old "Satisfaction" video one too many times, or there's a much larger fetish market for Coal Gasification technology than we thought.
