Private Clips

Even if they're not the first company to come up with the concept, we have to hand it to Private for recognizing that not everyone wants to spend time fast forwarding through an entire full-length video to find a scene worthy of closer inspection. But with the exchange rate being what it is, it's probably cheaper for US viewers to go out and rent, say, the DVDs which include the scenes "18 Men For Her" or "Beach Bang!" instead of renting a clip for €2.95 online—not that Private is responsible for the vicissitudes of international currency, of course. (We're also disappointed that Mac users are shut out of the fun by the site's use of protected .WMV clips* stern "NO Macintosh" warning. But we guess you can always blame Microsoft for that if you want to.)
