Unlike the world I live in, the population of Playmate World never age, gravity has no effect on them, and something in the ground water never allows for male offspring—likely because PW is a big, wonderful archive of Playboy and Penthouse magazine centerfolds. Scanned in hi-res and cataloged in painstakingly detailed timelines, the images include enough from the 50s to the 00s to make me spend more time in their world than my own. -V. Blue
