Even though her stomping ground is Brooklyn, evil pixie Joanna Angel has been making regular visits to Porn Valley for projects such as Tristan Taormino's "House of Ass" and Eon McKai's upcoming remake of "Neu Wave Hookers". "I was the casting director for Joanna's Angels," Joanna Angel said of her crimefighting-through-porn flick due the end of this month, "so I made sure everyone was having sex with someone they wanted to have sex with."

"So you didn't need overhead photos of me for inspiration this time?" I asked, sad.

"No."

"Really?"

"No."

BurningAngel.com was the Pixar to VCA's Disney for the shoot of Angels. It was the first BurningAngel.com project to be financed outside of the three-year-old Williamsburg company.

Joanna described the four days of all-sex scenes and the week of non-sex scenes as "Porn Summer Camp".

"We found space for the cast and crew at my loft," she said, "so everyone was horny all the time."

"Not as horny as you would have been if I was there," I said.

I asked about her self-imposed gag order about mentioning co-star James Deen.

"He makes me wet," she said.

"Are you two still an item?" I asked.

"He makes me wet," she said.

"This sounds like Dangerous Liaisons," I said.

The rest of the adult industry has taken notice of Angel's forays out of New York, particularly because VCA is such a goddamn magic factory. I asked her if she had started coveting an AVN award and, if so, what would it be?

She thought a moment and said, "Best Jew."
