The feds went a-raidin' this week and seized several European and urethra-centric titles from the stores of "extreme" pornographer Max Hardcore. - G. Ponante
Branded variously as "chicken-hawk", "vacant-eyed sociopath", "sick fuck", and "a very nice gentleman", Hardcore has, like Rob Black of Extreme Associates (I'm thinking that taking away the word "extreme" and there'd be far fewer lawsuits), faced down his share of Bush II-era obscenity charges by relying on community standards, customer demand, and his own documentation. Hardcore's attorney, Jeffery Douglas, is well known in the adult industry for his work with the Free Speech Coalition.
Douglas lamented that the raid, which netted episodes 5 and 6 of Hardcore's "Golden Guzzlers" series, is just another waste of taxpayer resources. Hardcore is in Barcelona—not Whit Stillman's version—this week and could not be contacted.
