The Adultcon Con

According to eyewitnesses, Adultcon 9 at the Los Angeles Convention Center was "desultory". While it is true that people who use words like "desultory" don't know from adult conventions, one can judge from the paucity of high-watt personalities (though we have a little crush on Cherokee, lollipops do not make a personality, Britney Rears) (and who am I, Mr. Blackwell?) who hung out an autograph-signing shingle, as well as embarrassing no-shows like Shane, that perhaps Adultcon might consider ratcheting down from three shows a year and instead blow its wad on one event rather than succumb to the inevitable merger with the Guess Who/BTO convention.
