Tampa: Way Up Firm and High

Another reason why Adultcon might have tanked this year (aside from the stars going home early if they came at all as well as the non-sexy security friskings) is that the Nightmoves Adult Entertainment Awards, aka "The Tampa Show", were going on at the same time across the country.

Since "Adultcon" never appeared in a Bob Seger song, my money was on Tampa.

The awards, which pit fans against Nightmoves editors (they didn't agree on a goddamn thing) were mostly presented to people who showed up. Tyler "The Pride of Saugus" Faith went home with a fan award for Best Feature Entertainer while Ashton Moore was the editors' choice. Florida's and Puerto Rico's own Carmen Luvana took Best Actress from the fans (they hadn't seen Pirates) while editors chose Our Miss Jones, Savanna Samson. Finally, fans and editors chose Keri Sable and Sunny Lane, respectively, for Best New Starlet. I think they're both pretty.- G. Ponante
