Max Hardcore's Pasadena offices were raided by the FBI and local law enforcement officials earlier this month while the man behind the "Golden Guzzlers" series was out of the country. In addition to discharging a shotgun into Hardcore's floor, the cops scared his dog, Sparky ... - G. Ponante
"Before they raid someone, they follow them for a period of time, and monitor their place of business and their home, to see what their routines are," Hardcore said. "I'm sure they followed me to the airport, and knew exactly where I was going."
Hardcore was in Barcelona for a convention on October 6 when he received word that several agents, some of whom had previously raided Hardcore's home in 2001, had literally rifled through his home and offices, blowing a hole into his floor in the process.
"One of the local Porn Patrol said to my assistant, 'Hey, this place has really improved in the last few years.'"
Hardcore's housekeeper was made to wait downstairs (with Sparky) and his assistant was told to sit in the driveway. After an advance team secured each room of the house with guns drawn, other agents moved in to check paperwork and confiscate computers. Of particular interest were the European sale versions of "Fists of Fury", a fisting title, and "Golden Guzzlers", a pissing movie.
"We have not gotten our computers back, and it's very annoying. The FBI said they were going to get them right back, but they were lying of course," Hardcore said.
The jury is out on why the feds saw the need to shoot at the floor. "When my attorney (Jeffery Douglas) asked them, they just ignored the question."
Hardcore reports that Sparky is fine.
