Acid Rain Productions is fixing to kill you. The Northridge, California-based company is sitting on a porn library that rivals that of the fabled porn stash of Alexandria, and since July has been releasing twenty-hour compilations like "Teen and Pink", "The Great Outdoors", and "Sorority Sluts"—all of which contain footage from movies that might be several years old and all recompiled for a thematic porn overload. People on the street have described this concept as "delightful", "joyous", and "pathetic". What's going to happen now that the company is releasing a fifty-hour compilation? "We decided to push the envelope," said Acid Rain owner Mitch Spinelli, whose father Anthony Spinelli was one of Porn Valley's "Golden Age" pioneers.

The fifty-hour comps, which come in a ten-disc boxed set, include volumes like "Before They Were Porn Stars", featuring, respectively, pre-(Evan) Seinfeld, pre-Vivid, and pre-gubernatorial turns by (the women who would become) Tera Patrick, Brianna Banks, and Mary Carey.

But who would buy fifty hours of porn?

"You'd be very surprised," Spinelli said, adding that the Asian and Large-Breast titles in the twenty-hour compilations did very well.

Spinelli is hoping to get "nine or ten bucks" apiece for his fifty hours of history. When asked how much his dad would get, back in the day, for that amount of skin on video, Spinelli estimated about one hundred dollars. "Things are cheaper these days," he said.
