Porn Valley Dispatch: Remembering Anna Malle

Adult star Anna Malle, described by Adam Film World as "one of the great wild women of porn" died yesterday as the result of a car crash off SR 160 in Las Vegas. She was 38. Roy Karch, who directed Malle in several movies, said that she was "one of the last people in the adult biz who really enjoyed it". More after the gap. - G. Ponante

Malle joined the adult industry in 1992 after being discovered in a "lifestyles group" (= code name for "swingers"). She proceeded to shoot about 350 movies in addition to appearing in a great deal of Internet content.

"At the height of her fame as an adult star," recalled former AVN editor Rebecca Gray, "she actively auditioned for plays around Los Angeles. She had a lot going on."

Malle is remembered for living her work as an active swinger.

"As wild as she was on camera, she was as nice off camera," Karch said. "We are devastated that she's gone."

It's worth noting that porn stars Britney Madison and Julie Robbins have also died in car crashes within the past year. Or maybe not.
