Hyperion: Creation/Photography

While blogging often conveys a sense of spontaneity, there's a lot of effort involved in bringing you material on Fleshbot every day: a single post can involve days of research and consultations with top experts in the field, all for the sake of the kind of smart ass informative commentary you've come to expect from us. For example, while we were writing up this site we sent the interns to library for a few hours to read up on their Greek mythology to find out who Hyperion was; apparently, he was the son of Uranus. There is not, however, any instances of classical iconography—nor a single anus (yours or otherwise)—on this entire site, just a nice selection of crisp fetish fashion photography and a separate gallery for some really nice black and white Polaroids. So maybe we didn't have top go through all that effort after all. Stupid interns.A. Tolesco
