The Nymphs

As a very wise person we just made up once told us,
Pussy has no face
—and so in our second vulvacentric-related art post this week we present you with a selection of German photos of the female crotch which pay lip service to that timeless maxim. Indeed, not a single one of the fine specimens in photographer Sabine Modotti's brilliantly colored studies has a face. Some images have amusing titles like
First prize
(= a crotch with a big yellow bow) and
Oyster and Lemon
(= a crotch with a big lemon). Sexy stockings, garters, and high heels further help frame and lend context to the subject matter—and presumably, all of them come attached with the full-faced nymphs of the title.A. Tolesco
