Jenna Jameson has always been a plucky contender, so this week's announcement by UK soccer hooligan mag Zoo that Scottsdale's Brightest has replaced Britney Spears as the #1 Peach on the Internet came as little surprise to those of us paid to monitor Jameson's career.
But what of the literally dozens of people who have yet to hear of La Jameson? Well, as far as I'm concerned, they can burn in Hell. More musings about What This Means after the gap.

No more chains
That you gave me
Enough of pain
Now I'm craving
Something sweet. So delight.
- Britney Spears, from her recent poem "Remembrance of Who I Am"
That Zoo has a paid subscription of 250,000 lends more credibility to the changing of the guard (as opposed to, say, if AVN said it). Still, more people saw Britney's "Crossroads" than saw "The New Devil in Miss Jones", so shouldn't the Britster not be kicked when she's down?
"No. Kick her more," says the Internet.
Spears topped the magazine's Peach index for three years beginning in 2003, long after her last big hit but before the steady unraveling that manifested itself in the person of Kevin Federline. Jessica Simpson, Lindsey Lohan, and driving with untethered babies seemed to seal her fate.
I want Britney to be OK. In the same way I want Sir Paul to be OK. Maybe Sir Paul should marry Britney.
