Porn Valley Dispatch: The Kid Is Not My Son

In his nine-year career as a porn performer, Lexington Steele has had sex with hundreds of women, including former Shane's World star Calli Cox. Now stories have surfaced that Steele is the father of Cox' son, as well as of the child of Digital Playground contract girl Teagan Presley. Both children were born last year.

"The last time I worked with Calli was in 2002, but I can't remember the title," Steele, a three-time AVN Best Male Performer winner said. According to the Internet Adult Film Database, it was the movie "Iron Maidens" in a scene with our friend Belladonna. Cox gave up performing the next year, worked as Shane's World's publicist for a while, and then left the business in 2004.

"As for Teagan, someone had been contacting her claiming he was me, but then when we finally met, she had to introduce herself."

Steele worked in movies with Presley four times (prior to her Digital Playground contract, she often just went with the name Teagan), and as recently as last year, but never did a scene with her.

But just because the moment of conception was not captured on film (besides, unless the load is of the outboard variety, brokenhearted porn consumers feel the male talent is faking it) doesn't prove anything, right?

The children neither resemble Steele in hue nor visage. None has been photographed brandishing a digital video camera, as Steele is wont to do. Also, neither Presley nor Cox claims Steele's paternity.

"It's all the Internet," Steele says. "But beyond that, I have no idea why anyone would choose those women in particular to be the mothers of my child."

Steele concedes that the rumors might have something to do with the fact that he is black. "The stories aren't detrimental to me," he said, "but they might come from someone who is trying to embarass Calli and Teagan, though both have done interracial scenes."

Steele and performer/director Vanessa Blue ended their seven-year relationship in May, after announcing their engagement at the AVN awards in January. The rumors of Steele's paternity have been cropping up for the past several months, culminating with an anonymous Internet Movie Database entry for Cox claiming Steele, not her husband, was the father of her child.

"Me, Teagan, and Calli should all go on Maury to clear this up," Steele said.
