Berlin Porn Film Festival

"What is the difference between pornography and art?" That's a question we here at Fleshbot have been grappling with since the beginning, and it's also the starting point for the first annual Berlin Porn Film Festival, to be held this fall and which will include appearances by such porn visionaries as Eon McKai and Annie Sprinkle along with features on sexual perversity in Japan and smut-flavored work by directors like Lars Von Trier and Bruce La Bruce. Despite everything you've read here over the last three years, we still haven't come up with an answer to that question yet, but according to the festival organizers the difference is simple: "Art is more expansive!" (OK, so we have no idea what that's supposed to mean either. Maybe we'll just have to make our way to Berlin in October to find out?)
