Norbert Guthier Photography

It's hard enough to take photos of naked ladies for a living and get away with calling it art, but when you also like to snap couples in the middle of the deed, the "porn" label is even harder to shake. Norbert Guthier somehow pulls it off though, perhaps through a combination of gauzy black and white portraits, creative camera angles, and his habit of publishing in books instead of magazines. He's got three collections so far and another on the way, all of which you can sample at his website. Above all, however, he captures lovers in intimate moments that remain intimate, as they never appear to be showing off for the camera. Maybe it's just semantics, but it makes us feel more like voyeurs than perverts—although "art patron" has a nice ring to it as well.
