Despite whatever dire warnings conservative cultural pundits and alarmist news programs may inflict upon the rest of us, porn probably won't ever become completely mainstream (and good thing too&mdashotherwise, as we've always maintained, it would be less dirty and therefore a hell of a lot less fun). But there's no denying that it's certainly left its mark on the fashion and glamour industries. Photographer Misa Martin takes a page (maybe even a page and a half) from fetish photography in her high-gloss glamour portraits of downtown NYC celebutantes and busty ladies in poses that can't be fun for the models to hold, but sure are fun to look at. And let's not forget their effectiveness as advertising: we weren't exactly in the market for a leather paddle before browsing through her portfolio, but darned if we're not jonesing for one now ...
