Nostalgic Lui: Vintage French Men’s Magazines

Ah, la belle France ... home of kisses, ticklers, sexy vintage men's magazines and frame-based HTML layouts that take us back to those halcyon days of mid-90s web design. Taking a momentary break from introducing us to French amateur models doing dirty things to themselves and each other, our friends at Touché Sexy point us towards this archive of covers and scans from the golden age of Lui, the "magazine for the modern man" (and, we suspect, more than a few open-minded women) that's sure to pique the interest of any discerning boobophile bibliophile. While the collection hundreds of examples of groovy cover art stretches over several decades, the curator of the site seems to have stalled in his plan to present a gallery of pictures from the inside of each issue as well (i.e., don't bother clicking on most of those "index" links in the sidebar unless you want even more mistargeted framed pages to clutter up your desktop.) Still, it's worth exploring if only for being reminded that the whole chicks with guns thing existed long before the interweb came along ...
