Photos by Marion Udema: The Freundefinden Series

In case you haven't figured it out by now, many of the photos you see in ads for adult personals sites aren't actually ones of hot local singles in your area. So what do these folks really look like? That's the question posed by German photographer Marion Üdema in her "Freundefinden.com" series, which features larger-than-life shots of amateurs who the artist photographed after responding to their ads looking for sex partners. They may not all be the hot 19 year old coeds those blinking banners entice you with, but heck—at least they look friendly.
