Flesh Flicks: (In)Security Camera Sex

Sometimes we wonder if this job makes us too cynical. For example, when we see a video that claims to be "authentic" security camera footage of an unsuspecting couple behaving badly, why do we always assume it's a setup? Sure the footage is convincingly grainy and we personally know people who like to have sex in public, so why is our first instinct that the stars of these videos are completely aware they're being filmed and that the sex may actually be (gasp) staged? Perhaps we've been burned once too often to really trust anyone anymore. (Or maybe it has something to do with the cheesy porn movie soundtrack and suspiciously stagey moans and groans?) Then again, maybe it doesn't even matter whether these clips are real or not—the real question is whether we'll ever be able to recapture our lost innocence and learn to love again. (We'd ask our therapist these questions, but that guy is a little shady.)
