They might seem a little quaint in the age of YouTube et al., but there was a time not too long ago when webcams were (and for many people, still are) the last word in sexy interactivity—and as we all know, any media featuring girls who appear nude even for only for a few moments every day gets tagged with the "porn" label. Documentary filmmaker Aerlyn Weissman examines the relationship between "real life" and smut in her new film "WebCam Girls", which features interviews (and plenty of screenshots) with such superstars of the genre as art/life cammer Ana Voog, sex educator and fetish model Ducky Doolittle, cultural critic-turned-camgirl Terri Senft, and cam studio pioneer Dionne Loewen.
