AVN Countdown: T-Minus 9

As part of our countdown to this year's AVN Awards, we look back at the porn version of a media conflagration that was Britney Rears, which burned so bright that it toasted poor Jessica Sweet, star of "Britney Rears" 1 and 2. Seen here promoting the living shit out of the first installment of the pop-shot princess saga (now fronted by Hillary Scott), Sweet was sanguine about the title role going to someone less nasal later in the year.

"Britney Rears is bigger than one person," she most certainly did not say, not continuing, "It is time for the nation to heal." - GP
