Here is the delightful Gina Lynn, stripper first, porn star second. "I have size four feet," she said. "I didn't realize how much people were into feet until I took my shoes off once at a shoot and then the session became all about that."

I didn't know that about feet either. This year has been a voyage of discovery for me.

Standing next to "Memoirs of a Modern-Day Geisha" director Jennifer James is Joanna Angel. The exchange went like this:

Me: Joanna, may I take your picture?

Angel: (Something to the effect of) I would do anything for you, in public, at your slightest whim.

Me: Right. Except convert.

(Small commotion. Jennifer James appears, walks into shot)

James (to Angel): I'd really like to work with you. Do you have a card?

Me: I'm working here. Wait a minute. May I get a picture of the two of you?

It is one of my favorite pictures ever.
