Unusual Underwear

Choosing the right underwear is a surefire way to add a little excitement to your life (for those of us who bother to put it on, anyway), but sometimes plain old boxers or a simple thong just isn't enough to get the job done. Fortunately, there have always been crazy inventor types who don't away from customizing our delicates, and bras, panties and even jock straps have all been tinkered with for the sake of science. The American Inventor blog rounds up some of the more creative attempts to upgrade your drawers—including a few ideas that don't exist, and some that probably shouldn't, like a "sac free" pair of briefs kind of defeats the whole purpose of underwear. But the TV sports bra does show some promise. Valentine's Day is right around the corner, so if you're looking for a unique alternative to that Victoria's Secret gift certificate, you might just find some inspiration.
