Self Shot Babes

Earlier this week, Slate published an extended treatise on the rise of the cell phone camera, chronicling all the various uses that average Joes (and Janes) have made of them from citizen journalism to vigilante justice. What was hinted at—but barely discussed—is their magical ability to help create good old fashioned amateur porn. We guess they decided to leave that part to Self Shot Babes, a blog that skips the philosophical discussions of "What It All Means," and just posts self-portraits of girls—many taken with camera phones, of course. We don't know why these girls felt compelled to take their shirts off, snap a picture in the mirror or with a camera at arm's length, and then email said pictures to the webmaster of this site (or upload them somewhere else on the interweb where they were culled by the same)—and frankly, we don't care. But it's all the evidence we need that camera phones make all our pervy lives a little bit brighter.
