It may seem like a dream come true to some people (you know who you are), but the advent of high definition porn is not without its own particular set of problems that may give even the most enthusiastic smut fan cause for concern: The New York Times explores some of the more unsavory issues of the new medium in an in-depth and amusing article that discusses its impact upon some of the adult industry's biggest stars like Jesse Jane, who is planning on getting plastic surgery to correct the appearance of her boob job scars which are suddenly a lot more visible in the hi-def format; and Savanna Samson, whose recent issues involved an unfortunately placed pimple which no amount of makeup or powder could help conceal. (Her solution? Try another position where the camera wasn't as up in her less-than-unblemished business.) All of which perfectly illustrates that old adage: be careful what you wish for. (Unless you're a boob job scar or zit fetishist, in which case it looks like you have a lot to look forward to.)
