We Love New York (Condoms)

Sure, public health institutions in your city probably give away free condoms that you nab by the handful whenever you can—hey, they're free, and who knows when you might get lucky? But today, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is launching its own special line of branded condoms, complete with mass transit-themed packaging. (Get it? Train? Tunnel?) In a welcome show of optimism, the city is apparently anticipating its residents getting seriously busy and plans to distribute 20 million of the new condoms over the next year. We can only hope they'll will be more reliable than some of the subway lines they're branded with. -AR
