Dan Savage’s Porn Problem

Sure, being surrounded by hot sexy pornstars is fun and everything, but one of our personal highlights from AVN Expo week—for the writerly geek inside of us anyway—was meeting Dan Savage, proprietor of the long-running and much beloved Savage Love advice column. (And also curator of Seattle's amateur porn extravaganza HUMP!) Since reading, writing and thinking about freaks is pretty much his stock-in-trade, we just had to corral Dan for an interview. In part one of two, we find out what he thinks about porn, exhibitionists, and glistening rectal mucus. (OK, so he volunteered that last one ... but who hasn't thought about that?)
