Freshman Of The Year: Every Inch Vote Counts

We usually like to complain about the inane self-congratulatory nature of most porn awards--but whether we're getting soft more sentimental in our old age or just have a tender spot in our hearts for barely legal porn pups, we still fondly anticipate the Freshman of the Year competition every time voting season rolls around. (Yes, we know some of the nominees aren't exactly "fresh", and that the current Democratic presidential candidate race has more color than this one does ... but it's the principle that counts!) Could it be because the whole FotY process captures these young bucks at that brief, shining moment near the beginning of their adult entertainment careers when all that lies before them is full of promise and excitement? Or is it just because we welcome any opportunity to slaver over photos of dozens of porn dudes in the name of "research" and "democratic process"? OK, it's probably the latter. We're not that sentimental.
