Photoplay: April Flores In The (New) “Voluptuous Life”

To know April Flores is to love April Flores, and director Carlos Batts knows Flores well. He follows his partner from San Francisco to Echo Park to Las Vegas, chronicling various voluptuous interludes; first Flores is sexy in a wig, then she is sexy in some rope, then she is sexy with Kimberly Kane's feet on her boobs (this is usually when people are at their sexiest). Placing Flores in SoCal backdrops both gritty and glamorous, and with a soundtrack of great L.A. bands, "Voluptuous Life 2" should be subtitled "Andrew Wyeth And Helga Meet Repo Man".

This movie is distinct from the earlier and (we guess) limited selling "Voluptuous Life" that we reviewed earlier. Would you sacrifice such a great title just because you used it for a previous movie?

Throughout the movie, people are just delighted to meet Flores. I have seen this happen in real life.
