Violet Vs. Tyra: Clash Of The Titans

The love that certain members of Team Fleshbot hold for America's Next Top Model notwithstanding, we are rendered utterly dumbstruck by the appearance of Tyra Banks on TV—"dumbstruck" in the sense that we actually feel stupider after watching five minutes of her talk show this morning. You see, we tuned in with hopes of catching our very own birthday girl Violet Blue, who recently appeared on stage with the mother hen herself, to tape a segment of her show based on this "porn for women" article that appeared in Oprah Winfrey's magazine. (Soon to be a major motion picture!)

As you can imagine, things didn't exactly go according to plan, what with the fight over Violet's tattoos, the pre-selected questions (and answers!) handed to her two minutes before she went on stage, and Tyra calling an audible at the line and pulling the plug on the whole thing. We'll let Violet explain in more detail through her own words and pictures, but we think the item that best sums up this whole experience is that the show's producers told her look for the segment to air on the 31st ... even though there is no 31st of September. See what we mean by dumbstruck?
