“Sex And Candy” Book Party: Eat Your Heart Out

If you walked into a place called Pete's Candy Store and saw Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Butterfingers, Hershey's Kisses and delicious mini-cupcakes spread all over the tables, you might think that you were at some little kid's birthday party. However, this is Williamsburg, Brooklyn, so naturally the "store" is actually a bar, the birthday party is for a book, and a round of naughty mad libs produces results like, "Certain handbags often inspire fellatio." Such was the scene last Friday night for the release of "Sex and Candy," a collection of erotic short stories that feature a sugary theme. Check out our video diary of the night starring multiple Fleshbot Crush Objects, including the book's editor Rachel Kramer Bussel, shiny contributor Jennifer Dziura, and Tsaurah Litzky (reading from her story "Old-Fashioned Fudge"), plus a guest appearance by expert frosting remover Molly Crabapple.
